When you read the stories within the inspired scriptures there is an invitation that awaits you. An invitation to trust the creator God behind the story. To believe that creation is good. That God has done and is enough. That God offers a life of abundance not scarcity. A life that isn't defined by what you can produce but by simply being you. You can find it woven into the text, sometimes clear as day and sometimes hidden under the surface to be discovered.

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the people of old received their commendation. By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.

Hebrews 11:1-3 ESV

Reading the Bible you will get the opportunity to have your worldview reoriented. To trust the story God has presented to us. To live in the economy of the kingdom of peace not the world of empire we see around us. Reading or re-reading the text will feed your soul to discover these truths and build up your confidence.
